Welcome to the American International School of Algiers (AISA). Starting with a pre-Kindergarten program, AISA provides a strong American education program for students through eighth grade. As you will see as you come to know the school, AISA is a happy school where each student is nurtured to achieve their highest potential.

While the program is fully American, AISA families represent 14 different nationalities making AISA an international school where students learn and thrive in a multicultural environment.

With the exception of the early primary children, students come to AISA already speaking English. Our program, delivered fully in English by experienced American teachers, reflects the standards and practices of the best private schools in the U.S.

Our curriculum is challenging, and provides a blend of academic rigor and creative opportunities. We provide a supportive environment that helps students flourish as caring, confident, and culturally sensitive individuals. You can find out more about our standards of excellence and curriculum at projectaero.org

Our classroom teachers, trained in the U.S., differentiate instruction and have experience teaching combined grade levels. However, due to our lack of resources, we are unable to provide support for students who have exceptional needs.

AISA is open to students of all nationalities who can fulfill the admission criteria. We invite you to explore this website to learn more about the school. If you have questions, or would like to apply, please contact us.

With best regards,
