It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the American International School of Algiers. Already in our second year of operation, we are a small, supportive K-6 school that is honored to be able to provide an exciting elementary program for English-speaking students residing in Algiers. We are truly an international school, but while our families represent 16 different nationalities, the one thing they all have in common is that their children have already attended English-speaking schools.

Our program, delivered by native English-speaking teachers, reflects the best instructional practices of American education. Offering a challenging curriculum (http://www.projectaero.org/), we also provide plenty of support to help students flourish as caring, confident, and culturally sensitive individuals. While our certified and experienced teachers differentiate in the classroom, we do not have provisions at this time to support students with learning issues.

Open to students of all nationalities who can fulfill the admission criteria, the school provides French conversation classes for all students and Arabic support for Algerian students only. In addition, we encourage all students to develop an appreciation for the history, geography, and culture of our beautiful host country, Algeria.

We invite you to contact us to learn more about our wonderful new school at admission@aisalgiers.org.

Warmest regards,
